Jess & Tim’s Wedding at Plas Dinam Country House

The Ceremony
Having photographed Jess and Tim’s legal ceremony at Islington Town Hall back in 2023, I was so happy when they asked me to photograph their two-day celebration at Plas Dinam Country House in Wales. The welcome party the evening before almost felt like Christmas Eve. Everyone was so excited to all be there, gathered outside as the sun started setting over the Welsh hills. Their dog Peggy was completely the star of the show that evening, moving between guests and getting plenty of attention from everyone there.
Plas Dinam sits at the top of a hill surrounded by wild grass and felt really peaceful across the whole weekend. The ceremony was held in a hidden woodland area surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Speeches and Drinks
After the ceremony, everyone headed out onto the lawn for drinks, with guests sitting out on vintage sofas and chairs catching up in the heat. Everyone later gathered in the shade for speeches before Jess and Tim took a few moments away together for some couples portraits. Jess wore a Halfpenny dress for the ceremony before changing into an Alexandra Grecco dress later in the day. The whole wedding weekend was photographed on a mix of digital and 35mm film.
